Pacific Hunter Aviation
The Home of the Hawker Hunter Aircraft
Geoffrey Moesker
A Brisbane native, Geoff has been working in the construction and oil industry since 1976. Some of his most exciting projects have taken him to Antarctica and Cambodia. His interest in aeroplanes goes back to childhood from models to retrieving a Avro Anson and starting flying as a glider pilot.
Whilst working on a construction project in Cambodia, Geoff heard about the tender for the fleet of Hunters from the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Having won the tender in 1995, Geoff spent the next 10 months in Singapore dismantling, documenting and packing the 21 Hunters, getting them ready to ship back to Australia.
It's been a labour of love, and Geoff has spent years working on this Hunter passion at Archerfield Airport in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. He hopes not only to see a return on his money, but to have the sheer pleasure of seeing a number of these golden girls fly again. Over the past 20 years, he has devoted a lot of his time to the Hunter and servicing other overseas customers' Hunter aircraft.
Always the aviation enthusiast, in 2003, Geoff formed OzGSE to supply cost-effective overhauled and refurbished aviation ground support equipment to the aviation industry. Today this business is the largest of its kind in Australasia.
